Despite its prickly appearance, it only means you well

Originally found in Mexico, prickly pear was brought back to Europe in the suitcases of Christopher Columbus before spreading in many parts of the world. Tough, the plant easily acclimates in arid areas.

Rich in sterols, Omega 6, linoleic acids, vitamin E, minerals and antioxidants, Prickly Pear Seed Oil is widely used by folk medicine in Mexico and the Maghreb.

A laborious and meticulous work:

Our prickly pear oil is 100% pure, virgin and natural. The fruit of the fig tree is picked by hand by a rural community of Moroccan women who remove the seeds one by one, dry them and then cold press them to obtain a golden oil.

Let's take a closer look at its benefits:

  • Sterols and Vitamin E protect your skin from the damaging effects of free radicals

  • Its high content of linoleic acid (Omega 6) boosts the skin’s water-retaining properties, keeping it hydrated and promoting the cells renewal. It evens your overall tone and complexion and reduce the appearance of fine lines

  • Its Antioxidant and antibacterial properties prevent skin damage from sunlight, premature aging, stop acne breakouts and cleansen the skin

  • Sebum regulator, which means that the oil regulates excess sebum, thus helping to fight acne
